Ahsan Ullah, Ph.D

In his professional career trajectory, Dr Ahsan Ullah worked in key capacities for a number of international development, research and academic organizations include: Plan International; BRAC (one of the largest NGOs in the world); South East Asian Research Centre (SEARC), City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong; Asian Institute of Technology (AIT); Thailand; University of Ottawa, Saint Mary's University, McMaster University, Canada; the American University in Cairo (AUC), Egypt. He provided consultancy services to the World Bank and Dalhousie University, Canada, and IDD, UK. Prior to joining the UBD, Dr Ullah was the Associate Director of the Center for Migration and Refugee Studies (CMRS), and Assistant Professor of the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) at the American University in Cairo (AUC).

He has so far raised a substantial amount of funds for research and development projects. Dr Ullah worked in South Asia, South-East Asia, East Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East and North African regions. He traveled more than 120 countries.
